Telma C. Martinez Urrutia

On June 16, 2018 in Gilbert, Arizonia Challenged Champions and Heroes awarded Telma C. Martinez a Challenged Champion Champion Leadership Award. She was recognized for her work in the community as a Caregiver.

Telma Martinez has been working as a community leader for the past 30 years among the US and Guatemala communities, she has developed a program to help needed children who are living literally in one of the main dumpsters around Monjas, Jalapa. As the Foundation Manos de Amor directed by Telma brings basic help to children, she teaches principles and values to this group of teens telling them how important they are for the world which is also a strong belief of CCH "every life is valuable.

Telma has poured her heart specially to elderly people in convalescent homes. Every year she puts a smile on their faces by bringing hope and joy. Thank you Telma for your compassion and helping people around the world!
